DANISH GRAND PRIX |
RAY FRANCE (KING'S LYNN LIGHTNING) won the Danish Grand Prix with a 19 point haul after an impressive performance. The only rider on the day who looked a likely challenger was KENNI ALGREEN (ABERAVON GEMS), with the Dane falling just short of giving the fans a home winner but his 18 points seeing him move top of the overall standings after 2 of the 8 GP rounds. RHODRI SZCZYGIEL (CANVEY ISLAND CASTAWAYS) finished 3rd and RAFAL ARANOWSKI (READING REBELS) was the other Grand Finalist here, taking a tumble in the final heat of the night but doing enough to stay 3rd overall. |
JACK HAGEN (BUDAPEST BULLS), Wild Card TOBIAS YDER (COPENHAGEN COBRAS) and FILLIPPE CHONG (NECRONS) all scored 9 as they reached the Semi Finals which means Hagen and Chong move into the top 8 overall. BOYD BEATON (READING REBELS) was the other semi finalist after he made a strong start to the meeting before fading a little. ARNE KARLSEN (BIRMINGHAM BOURNVILLAINS) and LAURENCE CHAMBERLAIN (LANARKSHIRE LIONS) were both left regretting falls in their first heat, which saw the pair miss out on a chance of progression beyond the regulation heats but they, along with RICHIE SAMPSON (ABERAVON GEMS) remain well placed after good opening rounds. |
